Hello Traveler...

Many of you are aware of the viral Youtube sensation produced by my friends in the Harold B. Lee Library. If you aren't, you should be, scholar. I find it highly entertaining. I thought of it more than once today as I experienced another fiasco on my vacation and imagined another, more personal version of "Study like a scholar, Scholar." I call it

Travel like a traveler, Traveler.

Hello Travelers.

Look at your itinerary.

Now look at mine.

Now look at your itinerary.

Now back to mine!

Fortunately it isn't like mine, but if you started booking trips on Travelocity like me it could be like mine!

Look at this yurt.

Oh, never mind. Look around, back up, where are you? You're in a line at the airport with the man your itinerary could be like. Did you know that even 76 travel agents can't help you when the standby list is 6 bajillion times larger than the number of seats on the plane?

Close your eyes. Now open eyes. Where are you? In the quiet confines of the Park Plaza Hotel where you get to study because Delta was kind enough to give you a hotel voucher. Look at your hand. Now back to me. I have it. It's my laptop accessing bucket-loads of simulation results.

Look again! The laptop is now a fork in the nearby Perkins restaurant. Anything seems edible when you've be fasting in airport.

I'm eating a la carte. Wa-CHA!
